Detailed Itinerary

This itinerary blends the thrill of safari with an insightful cultural experience, ensuring a well-rounded and unforgettable Tanzanian adventure

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Cultural Introduction
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, spend the afternoon immersing yourself in the vibrant Maasai culture with a visit to a Maasai village. Learn about their traditions, customs, and lifestyle before enjoying a local Tanzanian dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Explore the park through a game drive and discover its rich diversity of wildlife, including zebras, lions, and migratory birds. End the day with a spectacular sunset and overnight at a lodge near the park.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
Leave Tarangire early and head toward the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing, where you may spot the endangered black rhino, buffalo, lions, and flamingos. In the evening, return to a lodge perched on the crater’s edge for a panoramic view and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Drive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination, where you’ll spend the next two days. Along the way, visit a local community or cultural site to learn more about the indigenous tribes. Once in Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive to witness the endless plains teeming with wildlife. Spend the night at a safari camp or lodge in the heart of the park.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today, enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti, famed for its stunning wildlife diversity, including the Big Five and the Great Migration (depending on the time of year). Explore different regions of the park, from the Seronera River Valley to the northern woodlands, discovering lions, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.

Day 6: Serengeti to Lake Eyasi & Cultural Experience
In the morning, head to Lake Eyasi, where you will have the chance to visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in the world. Learn about their ancient traditions and observe their unique way of life. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the picturesque shores of Lake Eyasi before returning to your accommodation for the night.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi to Arusha – Departure
After a relaxing breakfast, embark on a scenic drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, you can visit the Maasai market for souvenirs or enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant.
