Detailed Itinerary

This safari takes you to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi. The safari takes you around the best places in Tanzania. Enjoy the Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden and Serengeti National Park, known for its unique attraction. The safari also includes visiting the famous primitive societies; Datoga and Hadzabe in Lake Eyasi

DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Your safari adventure begins with a visit to Tarangire National Park, known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant herds. During your game drive, you may also encounter wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various primates. Tarangire is a great spot for spotting lions and possibly leopards or cheetahs.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, allowing you to take in the beautiful surroundings while you eat.In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 2: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast, we set out for Serengeti National Park, journeying through the picturesque high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the highlands, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa, greeted by the vast plains of Serengeti National Park stretching into the distance. The expedition continues to the central park area, known as the Seronera area—an exceptionally rich wildlife habitat. The Seronera River, a crucial water source, attracts diverse wildlife, showcasing most of Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and partake in an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to your accommodation at Serengeti Heritage Camp/ Serengeti Safari Lodge where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. Your guide will take you on a game drive to uncover the entire day is set aside for game drives upon the Serengeti. The Serengeti, the habitat of an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopards, cheetah, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life. After an unforgettable day, we will return to Serengeti Heritage Camp / Serengeti Safari Lodge Seronera Public Campsite for relaxation, dinner, and our overnight sleep on The Endless Plain.

DAY 4: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO HIGHLAND
After breakfast, you will head out for an end-route game drive through the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO world heritage site formed millions of years ago is 600 m deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the Crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. You will arrive at the Crater rim before lunch. You will descend into the Crater and very quickly, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass.
After Lunch and full afternoon inside the crater, You Will Head to your accommodation At Rhino Lodge / Ngorongoro Ang’ata Camp Ngorongoro Safari Lodge / Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and Overnight Stay.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2,000 ft. high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

We will start the day very early with a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth. After a fantastic afternoon game drive, ascend the crater and transfer to your accommodation.

DAY 6: LAKE EYASI TO ARUSHA(HADZABE AND DATOGA)
It’s going to be a special day because you will meet the bush men! We will visit the Hadzabe & Datoga tribe who live near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe is a tribe of nomadic hunters. They live purely off the land and depend solely on the bush. The Datoga tribe are pastoralists who are skilled silversmiths who live near the Hadzabe and supply them with iron tips, knives and spears in exchange for honey and fruits.

WHAT TO BRING:
o Visas are required when traveling to Tanzania, Foreigners may apply for a visa online in advance of travel
o A passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond visa insurance and/or date of entry
o Yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers arriving from or having transited through countries where yellow fever is endemic
o Bring Binoculars for better sighting
o Bring appropriate clothes for Safari, Pants, Long sleeve shirts, Hats, Sunglasses, and Sun cream.
o It is recommended to bring mosquito spray with high mint
o A warm sweater and Jacket as the night can be chilly at high altitudes (Up to 5 C)
o Blue and Black colors to avoid while in the park as they attract Tsetse Liis
o You are advised to wear light and breathable material as it can get hot out on a game drive
o You should cover up on a game drive as you spend many hours outdoor
