5-DAY “BIG FIVE”, CULTURAL &SERVAL WILDLIFE TOUR

Detailed Itinerary

This five-day safari will take you to the best locations Tanzania has to offer. You will visit the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Eyasi and Serval Wildlife. There you will have the opportunity to see the “Big Five” and other African wildlife. You will visit Datoga and Hadzabe tribes, animal feeding and photographing at Serval Wildlife. You will feel one with nature as you spend your nights at various campsites along the African savannah. Your tour guides will ensure you are taken to the best locations to view the animals!

DAY 1 : ARUSHA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to Serengeti National Park. You will drive through the beautiful farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti. You will first make your way to the Seronera area, which has one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. Be sure to enjoy the view of the Seronera River, which provides water to the nearby animals. You will arrive at the Naabi gate in time for lunch, after which you will be taken on an afternoon game drive in the park. Later, you will be taken to the accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.at Serengeti Heritage Camp Serengeti Safari Lodge

DAY 2 : SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER
Rise up early, eat breakfast and then enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, you will come back to the campsite and eat lunch while your items are loaded onto our jeep for your game drive to Ngorongoro. DAY 3 : NGORONGORO CRATER
sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

We will start the day very early with a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth. After a fantastic afternoon game drive, ascend the crater and transfer to your accommodation at.

There is the possibility to downgrade or upgrade your accommodation level.

DAY 4: LAKE EYASI TO ARUSHA(HADZABE AND DATOGA)
It’s going to be a special day because you will meet the bush men! We will visit the Hadzabe & Datoga tribe who live near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe is a tribe of nomadic hunters. They live purely off the land and depend solely on the bush. The Datoga tribe are pastoralists who are skilled silversmiths who live near the Hadzabe and supply them with iron tips, knives and spears in exchange for honey and fruits. After this surreal experience, we’ll take you to Summit Safari Lodge in Arusha, for an overnight stay.

DAY 5: SERVAL WILDLIFE
Serval Wildlife is located in the Kilimanjaro area of Siha District close to Mount Kilimanjaro and is now the only upmarket ecotourism lodge and wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania positioned three hours from Arusha city and one-to-two hours depending on traffic on the route from Moshi town.
Embark on an unforgettable journey from Summit Safari Lodge to the Serval Wildlife Sanctuary in Sanya Juu, Siha district. Capture mesmerizing moments as you take photos of fascinating wildlife. Experience the joy of feeding the animals and immerse yourself in the sanctuary’s conservation efforts.
The day concludes with a return to the Arusha or airport for drop off, leaving you with cherished memories of 5 days well-spent in the heart of Tanzania’s natural wonders.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Bring Binoculars for better sighting
  • Bring appropriate clothes for Safari, Pants, Long sleeve shirts, Hats, Sunglasses, and Sun cream.
  • It is recommended to bring mosquito spray with high mint
  • A warm sweater and Jacket as the night can be chilly at high altitudes (Up to 5 C)
  • Blue and Black colors to avoid while in the park as they attract Tsetse liis
  • You are advised to wear light and breathable material as it can get hot out on a game drive
  • You should cover up on a game drive as you spend many hours outdoor
  • Visas are required when traveling to Tanzania, Foreigners may apply for a visa online in advance of travel
  • A passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond visa insurance and/or date of entry
  • Yellow fever vaccination is required for all travelers arriving from or having transited through countries where yellow fever is endemic
